Coffee & Conversations: "Hometown Stories"

October 16 - October 16, 2018

Coronado Museum
1100 Orange Avenue Coronado, CA 92118

Come enjoy refreshments while talking about what it was like growing up in the small town of Coronado with the Coronado Historical Association! Coffee & Conversations will be held on Tuesday, October 16th, from 3:30-4:30pm in the CHA Lecture Hall. This event is free of charge, however participants must sign Oral History releases to participate.

This month’s theme of Coffee and Conversations is “Hometown Stories” and will be led by current Coronado High School students. Hometown stories can be anything from what it was like being prom queen at Coronado High School to reminiscing about favorite after-school hangout spots to great surfing memories. The theme of “Hometown Stories” also helps explore how world and national events have impacted Coronado on a local level, such as the Vietnam War.
