In celebration of National Preservation month, the Coronado Historical Association has been diving deep into the history of architectual styles. One way to learn more about architecture is through documentaries. "Clean Lines, Open Spaces: A View of Mid-Century Modern Architecture" from Arkansas Public Radio is a great documentary to start with for an understanding of mid-century design. Though the film focuses on buildings in Arkansas, the film covers general principles of the style that can be seen in Coronado's mid-century buildings.
